My mother's best friend passed a about 2 years ago she was like my 2nd mom. My wife kids and I pulled up to our house in Carol Stream off Birchbark and I got out first to open the house door. It was dusk outside so I wanted to turn on the light in the house.
I opened the door flipped on the light and saw my moms best friend standing in the former of my kitchen. I jumped back and blinked and she was gone. I flipped the light on and off to see if I was

seeing something...
Nothing was there. For about 6 months straight my 5 year old daughter said she has an angel that comes in her room at night and

watches her sleep to keep her safe. She painted out my mom's best friend in a picture I showed her.

St. Charles IL — across the suburbs many know the urban legend of Munger road. At the quiet and secluded road legend says if a car is put into neutral over the train tracks and baby powder is sprinkled on the bumper fingerprints appear as ghostly children push the car over the tracks.
While there's many versions of the story one says the children pushing the car died long ago when their school bus was struck by a train. For decades teens have driven to Munger road just 15 minutes from downtown st.
