I live in Hunters Crossing subdivision. I was walking our dogs one chilly evening down Bell Road towards where it ends in a field. I would walk dogs to the end, turn around, and head back. Well, this one evening we walked up into the field a little bit, just to behind the trees on the left of us. It felt very creepy that night. We turned around and started to head back. Something made me turn my head to look behind us. I saw a huge man wearing what looked

like Carhartt overalls. He was just barreling over the ridge from the field. He was just coming out of nowhere as I did not see anyone there when I left

that field. I walked even faster down the street. When I turned and looked behind me again there was nobody there. I was quite scared.

Comment by Sheila: I have seen him! I live in hunters west back to the cornfield. 11 years ago when nothing was built yet I would see a man in work clothes overalls and boots walk the tree line at the back of my yard behind my house always at dusk.
There was something about him I always just let him pass. Until we put up our fence. It was then I realized that he was still walking through. He always came from 6 and walked towards Minooka. After a while I didn't see him anymore.
But yes he was there!! I saw him too. Many times!.
Comment by anonymous: I'm not in Hunters West but the older Hunters Crossing just south of you. Not sure if it's the same ghost but could have been the old farmer walking around checking the property.
