This was when I was young as a kid. It kind of scared me because I didn't know what it was until later on I realized it was a ghost. I was sleeping in my bunk and my sister decided to sleep on the couch.

I slept peacefully until that night I woke up by something being there. I looked to the doorway and all I heard was my sister sleeping and my parents sleeping in their bedroom. From the couch I see a dark shadow but you can only see the head.

It rose up from the couch and turned to look at me. Then very slowly started to come towards me, I closed my eyes tight and I felt it still looking at me. I peeked a little and the entire room was pitch black.
I quickly ran to turn on the switch and then there was nothing. That was the only time it happened. Luckily that house is now turned into an eye doctor center.
