I have lived in Coal City for 4 years now, and I saw my first sighting of a ghost walking down Mccardle Road. Last summer at about 3 a.m. she was telling ''help help help''. We kept going and called police, and she was gone by the time my dad got back from dropping me off at work.

My 60-year-old mother told me she saw her mother-in-law who had lived with my parents for a while walking down the hallway. Mom said she felt something cool blow past and looked up from her reading. There was Clara Belle just walking down the hallway! My grandma had died a year before.

Mom had never told me this experience before because she thought she was imagining it. Now she does not believe she was dreaming or imagining... That it happened.

Every night I see a woman at my closet. It seems like she is waiting to do somthing. All of my friends that come in my room have encounters like being scatched or pushed. One night while I was in my room fliping through an old magazine I was pushed off my bed and when I got up I saw her just for a second and she vanished.
