We lived in a converted apartment house on the corner of Hazel and Penn Streets in 2014 Danville in Illinois. Not too long after we moved in we could hear someone walking up and down the stairs to the top apartment no one lived in yet. The kids were afraid of the kitchen even in daylight. They said the backdoor handle would shake. Sometimes it would sound like dishes crashing, but nothing fell. I would see shadow figure across shower curtain while

showering. I came home from work, and sometimes my door would be wide open when I knew I shut and locked it. A couple of times I came home, and the radio

was on full blast.
Over time things escalated. Our toys started turning on by themselves. The kids said stuffed animals flew across the bedroom. They even claimed to see ashtray on table move. At bedtime we felt uneasy, and something sounded like whispers in our ears. This takes the cake; one night when my boyfriend and I were up watching TV we thought we heard one of the kids out of bed. He said he went to bed, looked toward the hall, and saw a
