I was a cheerleader when I attended the school. I never believed the stories until one night when we got back from a game, and I snuck off from the group to go smoke. I heard a kid laugh, and the swings started moving. Of course, I ran back up front. Later in life I found out my great granduncle died there in the tornado, so walking past at night doesn't scare me much anymore. Submitted by Hey

Look, me and my friend Eric who live in this town have had a spirit box session at that school, and we have heard a child's laugh and scream and a teacher screaming. After that we saw the metal basketball hoop move like someone threw a ball, playing basket ball. That school is haunted. I swear.

I live in De Soto. My house is down the street from the school. During the Tri-State tornado of '25 this house was wiped too, and as a result the house is haunted. I lived here for years off and on, have seen and felt stuff heard stuff. Cleansing the house doesn't work because stuff keeps happening. It all comes from one room, namely the furnace room in the basement. When I was a teenager I lived down there in the spare room. The wall between that and the furnace room is paneling.
There was a hole from a nail; anyway whatever was in there would turn the light on. I was used to it, so I'd ignore it. The next day I'd turn it off, and the following night it would turn back on. I'd get a very uneasy feeling as well as feel a presence in the doorway. It would be followed by a creepy sound like a whisper or a shadow on the wall. Also all our animals at the time (and today) REFUSE to set foot in that basement. That's all I'm going to add, but that is by far the most mild story I have about this place .
