Comment by Abby: This is in response to your comment about the sighting at Scott St and Touhy Ave. I recently read an article about John Gacy's victims. One of the boys he murdered lived at that exact location and he had long hair at the time of his death.

I live northwest of Algonquin Middle School a bit past West Park. The house I live in was smaller before I was born with a main floor and basement. My parents decided to renovate the home and add a second floor not too long before I was born. The house is quite old built in 1924. I do not know any of the history. I remember when I was little my dad would tell me a story of when my family (my sister had been born at the time. She was still very little) used to sleep in the living room when there was only the main floor and the basement.
