I used to work as a housekeeper at a motel. I only worked there for a few months but I had some pretty interesting experiences in some of the rooms - and I worked the night shift to make matters worse! A lot of the guests and the people I worked with also reported having strange occurrences while staying or working in the motel.

Ironically enough the first occurrence I ever had there was my first day on the job. I say 'ironic' because I took this experience kind of as an early warning of what was to come. Kind of like this entity was saying you have no idea what you're up against, newbie. Think you're ready to take on this job? Well, think again...

I was training with one of the housekeepers that worked the daytime shift, her name was Cynthia. We were cleaning in one of the upstairs rooms (I can't remember the exact number of the room but it was somewhere in the 20's) - Cynthia was cleaning the bathroom I was cleaning the kitchen.
Well Cynthia had gone downstairs to get something leaving me in the room by myself. I stepped out of the room momentarily (2-3 seconds) to grab some more cleaning supplies off the cart, and when I came back into the kitchen all the burners on the stove were on as if someone had come into the room and physically turned the knobs on the stove.
Though the experience really frightened me and as badly as I wanted to run out of there screaming I turned off the burners and went back to work. It wasn't until a week later that I found out that some of the other housekeepers had had similar if not more frightening experiences than the one I had.
