61x Minnie has an old man and lady living there. One day when the kids were at school and I was home alone it sounded like the TV was on but it wasn't and I went outside; quiet as could be. But I know I heard someone talking inside the house .
My son would wake up at night to see a man standing at the end of his bed also my daughter would hear people taking in the same house when no one was home.

I saw a ghost at my house. She at the door of a house my mom and dad were thinking about buying. I walked up to the door and opened it for me with a friendly greeting. She only said ''hello come in''. Then as quickly as she appeared she was gone. I now live at the house. But it doesn't bother me.

I am 33 years old and I have lived in Dupo all my life my experiences with the paranormal date back as far as I can remember the first memory I can recall happened when I was very young it was summer and the ice cream truck was up the street from my house I was home by myself with the neghibors keeping a eye on me I ran into the house to swipe some change that my grandmother was hideing under her bed as I hung over the bed to snach some change out of her fire safe box I noticed what appeared to be what I thought at the time was a doll standing at the other side of the bed startled I raised up quickly to investigate nothing was there so I continued with my plot as I resumed leaning over the bed again it was back same position same stance I sprung up to investigate once again with the same results this time I thought my grand parents had returned home and knew what I was up to so I searched the house only more confused to find that I was still by myself I brushed off the incodent and once again continued with my plan so that I would have a little bit of money for when the ice cream man returned back up the other side of the street leaning back over the bed I continued this time I had the same thing happened with only a slightly different twist what I saw will stay with me for the rest of my life as well as the reason to follow I saw what I have no doubt in my mind was a little girl with the back of her calves facing toward me wearing white stcckings black shiney dress shoes, and a red velvet dress she was bent over she had her head looking between her legs back at me her hair was a dirty blond but what was really odd she seamed to have just walked into my house a complet strangers out of ahorrible rain storm not a cloud in the sky no rain that day there was a puddle where she was standing we locked eyes for a couple seconds I raised up to speak to her and she was gone not a word shared the incodent startled me when my grand parents did return home theay could tell that something had happened we sat down and I told them what had happened and then my grandfather began to tell me a story I had never herd before when theay decided to move to the area a long time ago theay wanted properties that were closely conected to each other so that their doughter my great aunt and her husband could live close by theay looked in cahokia first and found what theay were looking for however finance issues could not make this possible so the search continued until theay looked at a propierty in Dupo that a young couple was selling that meet their needs the propierty was big enough that it could be devided with a bonus it had a huge shed on it equiped with proper plumbing and electrical that with a little work could be turned into a home theay imeadietly jumped at the chance to buy this time financeing wasn't a problem the young couple was selling the place cheap my grandfather didn't ask why fearing that the couple might check into the market and see how much the propierty was actuly worth without a hitch the deal was done but after moving in theay began to see and hear things that seemed to be not of this world it made my grandfather so currious that he began to investagte what he found was truley a sad story it seemed the young couple that was selling the house had a young doughter that while outside playing one day fell into the family well and drowned I don't know why she had gotten so close to it but needless to say the family was devestated enough to move and this has to be the only reason I saw what I did tragic 33 years here my family long time residents of the town and three quarters of my family all with experiences some like me with to many to count so is Dupo haunted I don't know but all I can tell you is experiences seem to happen around me all the time some friendly others scary this is only one of many.
