My family and I lived in a wonderful farm house on 1650th Road in Earlville. The house was very active!!! Lots of shadow people, voices, people running up and down the stairs at all hours day and night, and doors opening and closing. My husband just told me that I was nuts when we first moved in, but within a week he became a believer.

I lived in a two-story farmhouse near Park and N. 3rd St. In Earlville, IL. Many things occurred in this home. In the main upstairs bedroom I got poked in my sleep several different times. There was a playful spirit that would splash cold water on your back while you were in the shower. The basement door would randomly be open, even though I was certain that it was closed before. I always felt an evil presence in the basement and could not stand to stay down there any longer than necessary. I never did any research on the house, but the presence that was there was decidedly feminine. If you have ever been in this house and experienced something please comment, so I know that I am not crazy.

Saw a ghost of a man in what looked like a grey suit. It was in the upstairs hallway of a building called the Wallace house on railroad str. In Earlville Illinois. The building was supposedly owned by Al Capone at one point.
It was built in the late 1800's. It's within 6 miles of rt. 23 and rt. 34 intersection. I have no pictures or proof of the incident. I only saw the ghost for about 2 seconds. It walked down the hallway and just vanished as I was looking at it.
