I grew up in a haunted house in Effingham. The ghost is that of a tall male who seems friendly. The first time I saw him I was 5 or 6. It was the middle of the night and I woke up from a noise. When I went downstairs to tell my parents about the noise there was a very tall white figure of a man standing in the hallway.
He smiled and waved to me and then slowly faded away. Another time when I was in my early twenties I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. But something was blocking the way around my bed.

The curtain by the window would not move and it was icy cold. There have been strange noises heard by others in my family but I am the only one who has seen him.

Was playing with my bouncy ball outside my apartment. I ran to get the ball and out of the corner of my eye I saw a man or woman riding a bicycle. It was silver with the sun glaring off of it. I jumped back a little. But when I looked around to see if anyone was there I was alone.
