and a new family moved in. We never got to really find out the history on it. Every time I pass it I see the new family fixed it up, and I just wonder should I knock and see if they have experienced the same or should I let it be. The nightmares in that house will always be in our memories. We experienced so much, and there are too many things to write. I lived the real life nightmare. We lived on Addison Street in Elgin, IL. The house was terrifying. It would throw stuff around. Doors shut. On the second floor there was a woman in white dress walking around. Pots got thrown around. My son saw a boy in the mirror and said it asked him to let him out. My daughter saw old women. I was pushed down few times by something I couldn't see. All I know is I'm prone to haunted houses, or I might just sense them. I can feel them and hear them. I had so many experiences; I could write books. Lol .

My friend used to live in an apartment in Garden Quarter next to the creek. She used to have a spirit she called her old man. She would smell men's aftershave on occasion in the hall next to the bathroom. The spirit also seemed a bit mischievous. It would write on her walls in her dining room. There was a couple of times I had witnessed activity in her apartment as well.
