When I told my friend about this and described the man to him. He said that was the same man he sees in his room, who wakes him up sometimes. He never told me about those instances till after I mentioned the dream. Anyway, I researched the Elgin area and a John Bananas, and got nothing. Only thing was a man who was still alive names john bananas. Maybe someone out there knows which is why I'm sharing this story.

House in south east Elgin 1920s. We had a man carrying a doctor's bag going from what was a bedroom into the bedroom across the hall. He has been seen many times. In the dining room we saw a young pretty woman in early 20s period dress setting the table. Then she just disappeared into the kitchen. Upstairs back bedroom there was a grandmotherly figure. When we asked the kids who lived there before us, and they started telling us about all of them before we had a chance to, which was kind of cool.

One night I was sitting on the toilet and our old cat came in, sat down, and stared at me. Then it turned and left. Next morning my wife told me she was taking cat to vet. I asked her why, and she told me it died the night before. I said I saw her about 1 am and she looked fine. Wife got super quiet and then said that she died at 10 pm, but she didn't tell me. Miss that house.
