I grew up on Wing Street in Elgin. Me and my older sister shared a room, and outside our room was a swing set. Every single night we would hear a sound, only one of the swigs would be moving back and forth. Inside our home around 3 am there would be footsteps heard from our living room to the kitchen and then to the rooms. In one of the rooms several family members had said they heard drum sounds, and the mirror on the wall would fog.
The basement was one of the scariest parts of the house. You could feel someone watching you, and when you would go back up the stairs you could feel someone behind you. An old man was seen in the boiler room in the basement. One night for New Year's Eve we had family over. We were all in the dining room and heard what sounded like someone dragging a chain outside. My dad and uncle went to check it out. No one was there, but the sound was still heard. A lady has been reported seen walking back and forth on the porch. In the closet in the main bedroom things get moved around.

Well my husband and I lived on Percy Street in Elgin we had a lot of things going on our TV would go on and off by itself. I saw a full shadow man in the room. We had a ghost in one room. He hated our landlord because he well let's just say he got scratched a lot. Also there was a lady in a dress like big and ''Gone with the Wind'' type. We had a little girl I named her Mary. She would jump on our bed and make the lights go off and on when my husband and I had a fight. We had things that came up 666 all the time. There was a little boy upstairs in one of the apartments. He looked 12 with a gray outfit on like when the first made cars.
The weird one was outside. We saw a lady see. Everything was black, and she was on this weird bike a very big wheel in front and a small wheel in the back, and she was high up and always had her nose up in the air like she was better than everyone. When she turned the corner she looked like she was flat as a pancake. Also I knew things before it happened. We couldn't see out our windows we were in the basement. My husband would ask me how I knew thing. I told him that they told me. I would always be sick when I was there, but when I went to the store I felt better.
Well we moved, and we don't see anything anymore. It feels good. That I don't feel like someone is watching me. The first year after we left I felt like I lost that little girl - Mary. I was so depressed, but it got me thinking, ''was she really a little girl?''.
