We were driving back into town to call the paramedics and tell them what happened. My boyfriend and I were trying to think of a way we could explain it to them without sounding like a couple of drunk mental patients when my boyfriend happened to glance at his phone.

Both our phones were now working like nothing happened... We never called the paramedics back, we never talked about it with

each other or with anyone else. It was just something weird that happened.
I thought that the man might have flagged down another motorist for fear that my boyfriend and I would not return in time to rescue the child but that couldn't have been possible because it would have taken more than a half an hour to get the child out of the car stabilize the both of them in an ambulance get a tow truck out there and clean up the mess of the accident.
