I grew up in a 2-story brick parsonage on Wilder Street. I lived there for fourteen years. I always swore my house was haunted because the house always gave me the creeps. As I grew up, I would hear things like breathing or knocks. My parents and I always had bad dreams while living there. My dogs were afraid to go upstairs when it was dark. Once while sleeping on the 2nd floor I felt like someone was holding me down in bed with their hand on my chest,

and I couldn't breathe. I was wide awake; yet I couldn't move! It was terrifying.
My dad was the pastor of the nearby Lutheran church, and surprisingly

he was open to listening to me talk to him about the various paranormal things I was telling him about. He always said that while he didn't believe in ghosts he didn't discount evil entities at work. He later ended up dying in that very house unexpectedly from a deteriorated heart. He had just been to the doctor the week before, and though he did have diabetes and was very overweight, it seemed strange for him to die out of nowhere.
