I used to live by the Lakewood area and have many times encountered what seemed like a ghost at the lake which is private. Not only me but my neighbors and their visitors have seen and heard something paranormal in the water. My personal experience was when I was taking a walk early in the morning one day.
I heard a big splash coming from the lake, then I heard a scream followed by a yell for help. I heard someone said ''please help me. I can't swim.

'' I looked around and hurried to the water, but I couldn't find anyone or anything.
My neighbor's experience was also similar to mine. He said that

while taking a morning jog at the small park by lake, he too heard a splash and someone's asking for help. This too happened in the early morning around 7 am.
Does anyone know the history of the lake and the area? Please share. .
