I spent many years of my childhood in a home on W. Belvedere. My great grandfather built the house and the smaller house behind it. The house was definitely occupied by an angry spirit who did not like dogs. Every dog we had while living there died for one reason or another. The house didn't have air conditioning; yet on hot summer days sometimes there would be cold spots around the house. The TV would come on by itself in the middle of the night. My father would

unplug it some nights, and we could still hear it come on and turn off.
My mom and one of my brothers witnessed a stuffed animal monkey peek up

out of the hamper. Another brother was pushed down the basement stairs, and nobody was near him. When I was nine I slept in a bunk bed on the top bunk. One night I was yanked out of bed by something, and I landed on a black and white television with a broken off antenna slicing open my cheek an inch away from large vein in my neck. I was lucky to only need 14 stitches.
