We live in one of the historic homes in Harvard. Lots of things happen in this house but nothing really scary. First thing that happened fifteen years ago was shortly after moving in. There was a very strong smell of skunk in the house. I worried one had gotten in with all the doors being open as we moved in furniture and boxes. As quickly as the smell arrived, it disappeared. We never did, thankfully, find a skunk in the house.

we came home at night we would see a silhouette of a tall man in the kitchen window. We now just refer to him as ''the Butler. '' The ''Butler'' will

almost always pay a visit to new people in the house. I had a person here painting in the living room. I was in the studio downstairs and came up to make a cup of tea. I asked the person painting if they would like one, and as I handed him his cup of tea, he asked if we had ghosts. I said yes and why he was asking. He said the whole time he had been painting a black silhouette had been in the hallway watching him.
