I lived in a house in Herrin for three years. In the middle of the night my closet / attic door would slowly open to a certain point then stop. I thought it was just the wind so I put a chair in front of the door.
I woke up the next morning the chair was moved and the door open. I also had a window that looked down at an old empty white house and sometimes I would see someone standing outside staring at the house then disappear.

out the window I felt someone was watching me. So one night me and my friend decided to record the house. We had heard weird noises but when we went to

bed I had set the camera facing outside towards the old house and we had a cross near the bed.
In the middle of the night we heard a crashing noise and woke up, the cross had been thrown across the room and all of our footage of the previous two days of ghost searching was erased and the camera had been turned to face us while we slept.
