Highland is definitely a paranormal ''hotspot''. UFO's have been sighted there several times, and I myself saw one in the backyard of our residence on Laurel Street back in 1969. My neighbor saw it also. My good friend's father was chased into a ditch by one while working on his farm in rural Highland. Seeing as this website concentrates mainly on Ghosts I've got a dandy story for you.
It involves the same friend whose father had the experience

with the UFO. I won't disclose his name, but I've known him since we were kids back in the sixties. When he and his wife first got married (1986) they

moved into the small house on his father's farm in rural Highland. After a couple of kids that house became too small, so sometime in the early nineties they moved into town on Main Street about a block away from the hospital. I should mention, at this point, that the elderly couple that they bought the house from had not wanted to sell it but were forced to for financial reasons.
