The next day I mentioned it to her teenage daughter and she wasn't surprised either. Pretty cool to me I am trying to get my best friend to sit there overnight with me but I think that she thinks I am nuts.

When I was 17 I was sitting in the living room of the house my mom rented on W. Bridge Street--the last house on the street overlooking Kennedy drive the river and the court Street bridge. I was painting my nails and the house was silent.

Suddenly my cat growled and bolted from the room. I heard a strange knocking sound and looked up to see the antique telephone Table Rocking back and forth kind of hopping from left to right. I felt strangely calm.

I stopped what I was doing and glared at the table. Then I just said stop it. The table never moved on it's own again.

Like most Kankakee kids who have nothing to do on a summer night my friends and I were hanging out at bird Park hoping that the police didn't find us and shoo us away. The girls in our group (me included) were swinging.
Suddenly I heard what sounded like a child's voice sigh and murmur in my ear. There was no one on that side-- I was on the swing at the end. It didn't sound like my friends either.
