One final story. I was sitting in music you know just a normal day. I looked back at the teacher's office and I could have sworn I saw a shadow. I might be crazy or is this stuff really happening?.

I go to Old Quarry Middle School and during music the teacher was talking to us about how the school is haunted and right when he said the word ''haunted'' posters fell and the lights flickered.

I am currently receiving treatment at Timberline Knolls here in Lemont, the facility here used to be a psychiatric institute for the criminally insane in the 70-80's. There's an old house that the owners used to live in ( no one not even staff is allowed in that house) it is considered a historical landmark so it has been left untouched for many years.
Upon visiting the house and looking through the window I saw a painting with four girls standing and one girl kneeling in front of them. One of the standing girls face is scratched out. I've also seen the lights in the house go on and off between 12 am and 2 am on nights when I couldn't sleep and decided that a walk around campus would be nice.
I did some research and discovered that the psychiatric hospital was called Four Winds.

Comment by John: Phoenix, you have your facts a little bit wrong. Four winds opened around 1989 and was never for the criminally insane. It was a treatment center for adolescents and adults very similar to what it is today. The house you refer to is the Pavolish House. It is used as a guest house for visitors from out of town. I've stayed there myself. It's a pretty cool old house with a very cozy feeling to it. I never encountered any ghosts there.
