I went to this school for 3rd and 4th grade roughly 3 years ago.. The stories are true! The ghost of him still haunts the basement of the school. We went down the basement and a shelf fell splattering old paint cans and books everywhere.
The thing is: no one bumped or pushed the shelf and no special force that we could see pushed it. Walking by the place where he tripped is like walking into a freezer for some people. Others it's like you're standing

in fire.
Take my word this is freaky.

New Douglas is a very small town and of course has a small school. It holds the 3rd and 4th grade. A long time ago it used to be a 6th grade too. When it was there, there was a janitor who worked there and it was late at night and he was working there...
In the gym there is door by the stage that leads down to the basement the door was open and since it was dark in the gym he didn't see a basketball at the foot of the stairs he tripped over the basketball fell down the stairs and broke his neck.
The teachers say that the basement is now haunted I haven't had any true experiences there but I do remember when I used to go to school there that while sitting by the basement door I would have an odd feeling that I wasn't really alone a sort of heavy prescence.
