It lasted for about 15 seconds. Once that happened it was like this weird feeling that something terrible is going to happen and we all ran for our lives back to our houses. From that day on whenever I cross that house I feel like I'm guilty of doing something and that the person will get me back.

Most people I know have reason to believe that the house on the Easternmost end of elm drive (a sort of frontage road to Golf road and directly next to the best buy at Golf and Greenwood). I have no idea if anybody's even lived in it in my lifetime (some guy lived out of a van parked halfway in the gated-off driveway but the more I look back on it I'm pretty sure now that he didn't actually own the place) but between the fact that it's been arsoned, and vandalized and the fact that it's technically on the real estate market I know that nobody lives there as I write this.

Once when I was nine and walking with my dad through the best buy parking lot from Golf mill mall we saw the curtains move in an empty closed window--an underwhelming experience compared to some others I've heard but substansial.
But later when I was walking by it with two guys that I hung out with in high school they decided to throw rocks at the door less than a week after they swore the front door slammed outward at them doing the same thing.
I was trying to be the voice of reason by walking away so I had my back to them and didn't see what they were doing. I heard a clicking noise and one of my associates saying ''i hit the door! ''...
