It was February 26th 2010 - I was driving northeast on rte 6 at 179th Street just after 5:00 am. I was about 200-300 yards from the intersection of rte 6 and 179th. I saw someone crossing at the crosswalk.

First I thought that is weird I never saw anyone walking to the train station (across the street) at this time. I have been driving this road every morning for more than a year. I kept my eye on this pedestrian but noticed I can see through right through it.

I couldn't make out if it was male or female or what it was wearing. I didn't take my eyes off of it it got to the other side of the street and disappeared. I looked as I passed by and no one was there.
It wasn't until I passed that I realized that it had to be a ghost. Haven't seen it since. Anyone else?.

Comment by anonymous: If I'm not mistaken, there was once a small town at that location (over a century ago) Alpine. It became a ghost town and never heard of again.
