My sister and I were driving down Ridge (next to Plainfield south) and heading towards Caton Farm. Both my sister and I saw a shadow walk across the road in my car's head lights. Looked like a full size man totally see-through. I didn't say anything at first because I was trying to debunk it, but after a few minutes she asked me if I had seen the shadow too. Haven't seen it since. Plainfield like Naperville has a lot of sightings. I can go on all day :).

Late at 3 am or so we got off the 55 onto 126, and I think just after where that old house is on the corner of that angled intersection before the speed limit goes down. We were startled to see a tall late 40s black haired gentleman in a black trench coat walking in freezing rain on the side of the road. There were no cars broken down on the side of the road. We thought maybe the guy had a bad night and went for a walk. None the less, it was creepy. Maybe someone else has seen similar sightings.
