because something that wasn't alive was standing there, and I felt fear. It's been a while, and my nana told me the history was that an old man used to live in the same apartment, but he died of a heart attack a few years before she moved in.

We used to live in the now migrant camp at the Chanute AFB old hospital. Our room was on the first floor near where they had radiology which was turned into a kitchen. At night at 3 a.m. I had to come out of the room to use the bathroom that was right outside the room. Everyone would tell me not to get out of the room, but I needed to go. I saw a lady in white nurse garb holding hands of two children walking through the hallway then through two metal brown painted doors with a large chain and lock. People said that the doors took you into the mortuary in the basement.

My husband, our two kids, and I live in the apartments on the old Air Force base that used to be military housing. We have three ghosts / spirits living with us. The first looks like a young girl around seven years old. She doesn't cause much trouble, but she runs through the house laughing and occasionally hides and jumps out at us. We think it is a game she plays, and we try to ignore her.
The second is a weird entity we refer to as ''the thing'' because it does not have an identifiable form. Sometimes we see it floating around like a wisp, but it occasionally pretends to be our cat at night. I have mistaken it for the cat in the dark and gone to pet him. When my fingers touched the carpet I looked closer, and my hand was in the middle of the thing which had green eyes and looked like a cross between a cat and an insect.
