I had one of the most bizarre incidents of the paranormal while visiting my friend's house outside of Rochelle on Sarah Lane in the winter of 1994. On a cold winter night myself, the owner of the house, and another friend while taking a break from snowmobiling, we were warming ourselves around my friend's fire pit in the back corner of his yard. There was about a foot of fresh snow on the ground, and his two dogs were on his backyard deck. He had a huge

backyard safety light that lit up the whole backyard and then some.
We ran out of firewood, so we climbed over his fence to drag some big dead
|
branches from a small patch of woods to the north which were only about two hundred feet away. Because of the snow it was very quiet. We were gone about five minutes, and we were never out of sight of his huge safety light. When we came back to his fence with the wood, I just stopped, stared, and said, ''What the heck?''
