In 1998 I was lying in my bed sound asleep. For some inexplicable reason I was awoken. From a dead sleep to wide awake I sat up on my bed and saw the figure of a woman in a long dress with hair that touched her toes.

I closed my eyes several times and reopened them to see if I was imagining it. She was still there. I glanced at the clock and saw that it was 5:30 am. I wanted to lie back down and sleep hoping that the figure would vanish but I was paralyzed with fear.

The figure appeared to be trying to walk away but she floated in the same spot. I intently watched her unsure what I was witnessing. It wasn't for almost twenty minutes that she finally disappeared.
With my heart nearly racing out of my chest I reluctantly lied back down and forced myself to try and sleep. This was only the beginning. I started hearing footsteps in our attic during the day time.
We'd find decorative trees in our house knocked over. I once witnessed it fall over and asked the ghost to pick it up. The next thing I saw was one of the tree leaves violently shake as if it were shaking it at me.
