These entities of a female wearing white dress without shoes and without a face are very common worldwide. When you say she was big enough to fill both lanes that's the weird part! Did she just seen big, or are you exaggerating? Resurrection Mary on Archer Avenue downtown looked similar to this, and I saw one of these type of apparition in Colorado. Submitted by Busker

It was a cold November night, Thanksgiving just passed. Winter felt like it was about to hit. I was in high school (1997ish) hanging out with three of my friends. It was about 3:00 am, and boredom had struck again! So we all decided the best way to solve that problem was to get up and out of the house. We casually snuck away into the dark night. We had a friend that drove a car, so we thought it'd be chill to smoke some cigarettes and get some good diner food at the 24-hour Denny's. So without a care in the world we drove off for our cheap little thrill!

On our way we approached a light at the intersection of Lake Street and Gary Avenue, heading west. All four of us just chatted and had no idea the minutes that follow would lead us to something so unexplainable. As the light turned green, we proceeded through the intersection and within moments we were exposed to a woman wearing all white. As we approached her, I couldn't help but feel a sense of creepiness. She was the biggest woman I have physically ever seen in my life. She took up both lanes on Lake Street! I looked at her from the ground up and saw her wearing a white pajama gown. She wasn't wearing shoes. She didn't have a jacket, and she walked like she was dead. When I got the chance to look at her face her eyes stared blank.
As soon as it had registered that this woman was in the middle of the road, the driver proceeded to drive around her, causing us to drive into the oncoming lane. As we drove further west, I remember feeling like time had slowed down, and my voice in those moments were taken away. Seconds went by, and I remember questioning ''what was that!?'' We all couldn't believe what we had just seen, so we all agreed to go back! As we turned around, we proceeded back through the intersection of Lake Street and Gary Avenue heading east, and what was so mind boggling was the fact that the woman was no longer there! She just disappeared into the night. This story took place in Roselle/Keeneyville Illinois. Submitted by Justina
