He shook his fist at us. He started to rise up a little until it looked like he was floating about a foot off the ground. He kept shaking his fist in the air at us and you could partially see through him! We got scared and drove off in a hurry!l.

The 5 mile cemetery and the point where 5 mile creek enters the Vermillion River are not far from each other. My family has visited both spots and saw the ''saunemin giant man'' ghost on several different occasions.

One night we were driving past 5 mile cemetery near Saunemin and saw a very tall man standing among the Tombstones. We could see him walking in the moonlight. He was very tall. He moved slowly walking away from the road.

Since it was so late we turned around wondering if it might be someone lost stranded or perhaps someone trying to vandalize the cemetery. He was still there when we drove into the cemetery. His eyes were open wide glowing in the car headlights and he looked startled.
He was huge we guessed at least 6'8''. As we neared him he disappeared into a cornfield but he was actually much taller than the corn. Another time we were fishing along the spot where 5mile creek enters the Vermillion river.
A giant man came running out of the woods towards us growling. We ran to our truck and looked back at him. As the other reports mentioned you could partially see through him. I wish some ghost hunters would set up cameras and sensors at that creek spot because there have been so many reports of the ''saunemin giant man ghost'' there.
