so I eventually gave up on trying. This went on for two more years until she stopped coming; and I ceased to see her anymore. I have since moved from that home, but I'm sure something followed me from there as I still hear and see different things now and again.

I lived in South Pekin Illinois on 3rd Street for four years. I always heard odd sounds. I always found railroad stakes and metal poles or some weird thing in the yard. I heard a laugh- a taunting laugh. I thought it was my mom or dad, but they were outside. We had 3 large sheds. I was scared of them. I saw and heard things I did not like. The town is haunted -- the train turn table in the woods, the school the houses, every thing is . I was at school one day, and I saw a girl my age. She looked lost and scared. She looked at me and faded out of site. On the play ground I was sitting with my friends in the gravel. I looked up at the school, and I saw an older boy in the second story window. He looked transparent. The look on his face was sad and betrayed. I must have gotten pale and wide eyed because one of my friends said ''you look like you saw a ghost,'' and I did.
