Growing up on the west end of Sterling, we moved into an old farm house on Dixon Court. My family had lived there prior to me being born once before, but had moved to Arizona for my older brother's health. Once we moved back into the home I was six years old, and we had no troubles until at the age of seven. I was hit by a truck and was pretty much given up for dead. As it is, it wasn't my time. My mother, sister, and I seemed to be the most affected by all this,

but my sister had it the worse as it seemed that whatever it was didn't like her at all. I was totally scared of a room in the upstairs that was in the hall of the upstairs. Such a bad feeling came to you when you went near it. I had to walk past it every time I went to my room. I told my mother about this, but she seemed to brush it off as an overactive child. However, as the years went by, she started to take heed to my words as things got bad when
