Comment by Dave: Who ever was wondering were I grew up in Sterling it was on Dixon Court on the west end of Sterling. I wish not give the real address as we no longer live there or any of our family and don't want to open anything to the new family that lives there today.

I was little at the time, and my parents were outside of our little red van fishing of a little bridge next to some old looking railroad tracks. Then all of the sudden I heard my dad say ''what's that down there in the bushes?'' Then all of the sudden I heard a loud growl. My mom then yelled ''get in the car'' to my dad. They both got in, and my dad and mom were freaking out. My dad said to my mom ''did you see the red eyes?'' My mom was as white as a ghost, and she said ''yes''. On your way out there was a barn, and it was raining. There was also something hanging in the barn. I closed my eyes, and we haven't been back since.

I grew up in the infamous ''House on the dead end road'' on 7th Avenue. The road and house are featured in numerous books. I have witnessed many paranormal activities while growing up in this home. (We moved when I was 13. ) Anyone in the area who has seen this old brick home with the red stone roof has told me they always got an eerie feeling. I plan to write a book about this house, and the strange things which happened here. My Mother seen the most, however.
