An inn, a popular nightspot for many years in TS has had more than it's fair share of ghosts over the years and I am sure they now find themselves confused at being in a senior center. The house behind the bar was the site of a horrible murder and as kids we used to hear footsteps coming up the steps in the middle of the night and then stopping at the top and never going anywhere.
There was also a local legend that a man carrying a gunny sack walked the

streets of Taylor springs late at night hoping to catch small children and carry them away.

Comment by anonymous: Don't know what time period you grew up in TS; but I lived there for 21 years and during the time of the murder. Never heard of any ghosts or a man with a gunny sack.
Comment by Kenmoroney: Believe the inn was the log cabin and heard there was a killing there.
Comment by Marci: I lived there. Grew up there 50s and 60s; my grandmother owned the log cabin. The murder in the house was my aunt Doris ( my cousin buddy's mom) no one was ever killed in the bar itself but a body of a local lady was found dead in her car parked outside the tavern.
