Not my story so much as my moms'. One night when I was a baby she told me that she heard me crying from my bedroom which was just next to hers and went to check on me. As she entered the room there was someone already holding me.
She said my dad's name and the man did not turn around. He just set me down and I was quiet. She didn't think it was odd until the man disappeared. Confused she went back into her own bedroom and my dad was still laying on

the bed fast asleep.

The house which we live in was the original hotel where the Stagecoach stopped here in Wataga. We have had numerous experiences over the years with an elderly lady ghost that we named Virginia. She has pulled at our covers at night been heard walking the floors upstairs and even strummed an acoustic guitar on a Sunday morning that was leaning against the wall in the hall upstairs.
We have just come to except her here.
