I grew up in the same house my mother and her siblings grew up in on the corner of Ann and Pearl Streets. I used to tell my mom and my grandparents I would hear people talking upstairs at night when everyone was asleep. I would also hear a lady crying and a child laughing. They would just tell me that I was dreaming. You would hear people walking upstairs or even in the next room when no one was there. I remember seeing a lady in a long black gown dancing

like a reflection on the TV one night when the TV was off. My mom used to tell me I had a vivid imagination.
As I grew older these thing didn't

go away. I remember I was in high school, and I had come home one day when no one else was home. I was sitting at the bottom of the stairs talking on the phone when I heard a piano playing in the background. I thought it was on the other end of the line, but when I hung up it was still playing, and people began talking and laughing. I looked around the house and could not find where it was coming from.
