Comment by Nat: I think it's cool you share your experience. The tracks are right behind my house in Winfield. I totally believe you. I have heard that spirits are attracted to trains. You never know how many people have been on those tracks. Also attracted to rivers or running water. And there's a river right by the tracks.

After both my grandparents had passed my family moved into their home. I loved living there. Many memories of holidays past. While living there I had strange things happen, but most of the time it wasn't scary, so I took it as a sign that my grandparents were still around. The times that were scary were scary. Once I woke in the middle of the night and went to get a drink. I opened my bedroom door. All I could see was a gray fog. As my eyes focused in, I realized I was face to face with a shadow person! I saw a person and face, but I can't explain how I knew that. It moved fast sinking down towards the floor as it moved down the hall. I used to sleep with my feet uncovered. One night while in bed but not asleep I feel a woman run one finger up my foot. Again I don't know how to explain, but I know it was a woman.

The time that frightened me the most was on a hot summer's night. All the windows were open. In the living room we had tall long windows. As I looked into the room I saw a tall thin long-legged black shadow step through the window and into our home. I screamed, and it was gone. We moved from that home to a new home two years ago. This new house felt empty. I found myself missing the feeling that there is more out there than what we can see and that we're not alone. I now believe I have drawn something to me. About a year ago I awoke to the sight of what looked like a human shape glowing blue leaving my youngest daughter's room.
Six months ago while lying in bed looking the direction of my other daughter's room I saw what looked like a human figure paper thin pitch black and with long sharp fingers that slid along her door and into her room. Four weeks ago during the night I look out my bedroom window down to the front walk way, and I saw something I've never seen before. It was a tall man in jeans, a shirt, and a hat. He had a full beard (almost looked like a farmer from long ago.) He was looking up at me. He was there, and yet he wasn't. It was as if I could see him with only in my mind's eye. The worst happened last night. I woke to see a large black mass crawling in my hallway. Whatever it was my dog jumped from the bed to go after it. I found nothing.
