I grew up in Windsor, IL. Once I heard someone playing the piano in my grandmother's home when I was there watering plants while they were away. I thought my cousin had come over, so I started running down the stairs. While I was on the stairs, I glanced in a hallway mirror hanging opposite the room with piano. I saw the reflection of a girl with long straight thick auburn hair sitting on the piano stool with her back to the mirror/room. I called out ''hi!''

thinking it was my aunt and cousin over to visit. The music immediately stopped, and within seconds when I had finished descending the stairs the person

was gone! I called my aunt and cousin after looking about the rooms. They were both at home!
I know that my grandparents' home is within a few hundred feet of a mass grave to many Irish immigrants who died in the 1860s after contracting smallpox as they came through town working westward. I get the absolute chills when I am in my grandparent's home alone. Also, my parents bought an older restored farmhouse in Windsor, one of the first homes ever
