Comment by Spoopygirl: Thank you! And I would say so. It's more like things will be in different places than I left them. Doors will open. When we first moved in my husband gave me a really cute crystal candy dish with a metal lid. I watched something pick the lid up and throw it near my feet. I think it was just letting me know that there's someone else here. Other than that, I hear giggles and often see my cats playing with a small shadow in the hallway. Our home is from the 40s, but the owners had said that a mother had lost her son. He was around 7.

In Zion, just on the northern border off of Sheridan there is Beulah Park. It made national headlines about a decade back when two young girls were murdered in the woods. It was believed to be by one of their stepfathers who was wanted in Texas for assault. They convicted him and closed the case.

Back in March of 2010, a few friends and myself went in there, ready to ghost hunt. We started out from the entrance from the bridge by the playground. One of our group was an avid non believer and ran on ahead with his flashlight, and we lost sight of him. The rest of us took our time crossing the bridge to feel and listen. Different indicators such as change in pressure, temperature and electrical sensations can sign for a presence. We also listened very closely for noises and voices.

I had my camera ready for anything to be captured on film. In the distance we heard a scream of a little girl, and we all stopped to listen more closely. Then the atmosphere told us to turn around. I tried to take a picture, but my batteries had died. I brought a spare pair just in case, and they still didn't turn the camera on. Before leaving the other member came back saying that his flashlight had died. Everyone checked their phones, and the phone batteries were dead also. We decided it was best to leave, so we crossed back over the bridge and heard giggling. We looked into the woods and saw a shadow that looked like a silhouette playing peek-a-boo with us. It didn't get any closer, so we went on toward the car. Once we got back the batteries worked again, and all our electronics powered back on.

I have gone back there several times and have several stories of my adventures there and am writing a book about them. A couple of years ago, they reopened the case and discovered that the stepfather was not guilty and that it was actually the friend of one of their older brother's. It stands to reason that this may be why the girls are there in spirit and potentially be reason that other darker entities have been attracted there. Either way, it seems that this park has very little attention in the paranormal community, yet it may be for the best.
