My dad lives on a house on New Jersey Street, and I have had an experience of a ghost or something of the sorts. I was sitting on my couch watching TV, and my sister's room is right next to the living room. While I was watching TV her TV turned on and off multiple times, so I went and checked on it. It stopped and turned off, so I went back and watched some more TV when it started doing it again. I just ran to my room until morning.

I live in Holton, KS and my friend's parents used to own the Holton House and one day while we were there and we didn't get the door shut all the way to the kitchen so my friend said the name of the little boy that died there and he asked him if he could shut the door and all of a sudden the door shut.
You might think it was wind but it wasn't windy outside or anything; it was sunny and if you don't believe that then you can believe that my house is actually built on a burial ground. All the people did was take out the tomb stones and left the caskets.
It also used to be a funeral home and our house still has the furnace in it from were they burned the bodies of the dead and just a few years ago we cleaned out what we thought was dirt but turned out to be ashes in the furnace.
