So she put down the phone and went to the upstairs doorway. She opened the door to see if the light was on. She saw that it was off, so she went back to the phone again and said ''no, the lights weren't on. '' Then the neighbor lady told my grandmother that as soon as she put down the phone to go look upstairs, the lights upstairs went off. My grandmother got scared. She called the sheriff to come check the upstairs to see if there was an intruder.

The sheriff looked all around and could not find anyone upstairs or any signs of someone breaking in. My grandmother kept the upstairs door locked when

she was not up there after that had happened.

Comment by April: This story of the house south of Home, KS is so funny because as a kid I grew up in this believe it or not there were many weird things happened here!! Moms rocking chair rocking in the middle of the night or hearing weird noises! Just had to make a comment as one of my friend brought this page to my attention.
Funny what a small world this is and the weird things that go on!!.
