When I bought my house at 100 East 10th Avenue in Hutchinson, it was in serious disarray. It was inhabitable. Plumbing was bad. Electrical needed replaced, and there had been a hole in the roof for so long that it had rotted out the ceiling on the second floor as well as the ceiling and floor of the first floor, but I knew I could fix it all myself. It took almost 3 months to get it to the point that I could even stay there.
One day when I was working in the basement doing some rewiring, I heard the sound of a small child run across the floor above my head. Assuming my wife had showed up with my little girl to check up on my progress, I dropped everything to go upstairs to greet them. When I got upstairs which literally took me five seconds there was no one in the house. I was all by myself. Needless to say, it did give me a bit of an uneasy feeling, but I played it off as my mind playing tricks on me.

About a month later we were able to move in, and so in the midst of bringing stuff over to our house we had another strange experience. As we were bringing stuff in, we would put the boxes in the appropriate rooms they were to stay in. In doing this we stacked boxes on the back porch which was the only other entrance into the house. On one of our trips we tried to bring in another load of boxes, but we found that we could not get into the house because there was a stack of previous boxes pushed up against the front door. We have no idea how they were able to get there since there was no other access into the house. Periodically I still experience unexplained activity like door knobs that slightly move on their own or hook locks that jingle when I'm the only person in the house.

W 18th Street back in 2012 my family and I moved to Kansas into this little house. When we first arrived I didn't want to go inside. The energy was negative. I didn't like it. We lived here for two weeks.
