I grew up on Limit in Leavenworth, KS. In 1969 the previous owner's wife of our home left her home in a green dress green stockings and walked to the river on Halloween night and jumped in killing herself. They did not find her till Christmas Eve. My grandma (her cousin was the woman' spouse) had to identify. All that was left was her wedding ring on her finger. Flash forward my parents bought the home and immediately we heard every Halloween

night someone walking to the back door leaving and nothing for another year. This continued for over 20 years. We haven't heard her since, but now they

hear someone on the basement steps.

I lived in a home on Pawnee, and my house was haunted. My 5-year-old daughter was in my room one day, and she started screaming and looking up at the ceiling. When we asked what happened she said the scary man was watching her. This happened for a couple of weeks until one day my dad was looking through old pictures with my daughter. She saw a man in the picture that was the ''scary man. '' We instantly started researching him. He was a family member that lived in my house. My house was built on Fort and moved to Leavenworth. We go visit the house at night sometimes, and she always sees the scary man.
