Comment by Caleb: Adding to my experience I will share what some have experienced in the house on Kickapoo. My sister had a friend stay the night downstairs on the couch. She awoke terrified staring at a medium size shadow looking in from the other room.
I had a giant Schnauzer that she said was growling at it. She said she was terrified. She said my dog Cleo was keeping her from dying of fright. Another time my mom awoke to feeling like she was being smothered.
My grandma had the same experience with the shadow person and being smothered. For some reason it happened to mostly girls. I was just a little boy and I think maybe it liked me because I only had nightmares. Horrible nightmares.
I haven't lived there in over 20 years and I still dream about it. Why didn't I get smothered or see the shadows. Only in my dreams. I don't know but I want to go back someday to see it.
Well that's all for now. There is much more that has happened but I wrote enough.
Comment by Ree: We too lived on Kickapoo Street in the big green house on the corner of 6th. The first night we were there I too had a dream about the woman who had once lived there. My two sons aged 3 and 5 always saw things.
Doors opened and closed. On two occasions when my husband had forgotten to set the 5 am alarm for work we had all the lights in the bedroom go on and wake us up. Both times it was 5:03 am. Finally on the day we were moving my youngest was suddenly drenched from head to toe in water.
Both children said it ''just came out of the ceiling. '' there were no leaks and nothing else was wet. To this day (boys are now 22 and 25) they remember how the water came from no where. I wonder to this day if the current residents have activity.
I have to say the spirit was nice to help my husband not be late for work but rather mean to pick on my 3 year old by soaking him with water. If your house was possibly the one we lived in please email me back. Reemont @aol .com.

I lived in a house on 23rd Street around 5 years ago. I don't want to put the exact address because I don't own the home I was renting. The home was only built in the 1980s but we would see shadows coming out of the master closet.

All of us including our young kids would here our names being called by voices that sounded like other family members. I would hear my son's hot wheels being played with (clanking together) and go in to tell him to go to bed only to find him sound asleep.
I'd also hear him crying and go in to check what was wrong and find him asleep. It was never threatening but I wanted to post it in case someone living there now starts to question what is going on in the home.
I have lived all over the country in much older homes this is the only one I think ever had stuff going on.
