I grew up in a home on W 4th in Pittsburg. It is haunted by Mrs. C who was murdered by her husband in the early 1920s. She is gentle and generally quiet. Every night she made a walk from what was her bedroom through a short hall and into a second bedroom where her son and father slept. (The short hall no longer exists and that space now contains two closets.) I've always thought that she was looking for or checking on her son.

our family until a few years ago. When I moved back to the area from the east I stayed there for a month or so as a guest of my aunt and uncle. I slept

in my old room (which was the same one, which was once occupied by Mrs. C's father and her son.) Sure enough she was still making that walk. The only difference was that the ceiling has been lowered, and the drop-ceiling tiles lifted a bit when she was present. Though she was killed in the front parlor, there has never been any ghostly activity there.
