There is an old barn about 8 miles outside of Sterling. It's called Scratches Barn. On December 10th 1987 a man killed himself but when the man was hanging he changed his mind and started scratching at the walls to try and stop himself from choking to death.
His body was found with thousands of scratch marks on the walls around him.

Comment by The Pumpkin Smashers: The barn is for sure there, but as far as we are concerned the story is a.... Half true... More than likely someone did hang themselves because there is a pulley which would've been the only place. However, there are no scratches. The barn is brick therefore no human is strong enough to scratch bricks.
