I ran into a stranded spirit that committed suicide near a stream. If you go there with EMO detector, you can find him to this day. However, you won't need one. You can feel the energy when you find him. This is near Harry and Hillside.

I lived in an old house that had been a boarding house located on Cleveland about 1971. Late afternoon I was leaving my second floor bedroom and was confronted by something that made my hair stand up. I sensed that it was a man and was daring me to enter the hallway. I knew it was a ghost and decided to leave by the window onto the porch roof and jumped from there.

Several months later I picked up a young lady and young man hitch hiking. I offered them a room for the night. Next morning I waited until about 10:30 and they still hadn't gotten up. When I knocked on the door they almost knocked me over rushing from the room. They claimed a ghost had ''broken'' into their room and came back and menaced them all night. They didn't sleep but were afraid to leave the room until I knocked. Funny thing I still don't believe in ghosts.

I would like to hear from others that live in Wichita to comment back to me. I have lived in Kansas for 10 years now. I am originally from California and I have had several experiences with spirits and some when I lived in Andover and now in Wichita in a community called Childs acres and I would like to know if anyone has heard anything about this area in the past.
