I was drawn to the Union Cemetery when I was 5 years old. My grandmother lived on Olive Street. I was never afraid to go when I was younger. I spent years from the age 5 and up playing there. Always. Near the children's graves. I still have no idea why or what pulled me into that cemetery, but I always go back.

The south lot close by the hill where that house is. The next lot before that one there's a headstone with a lot of kids died from same family. I lost my breath and felt panicked, but the most is south lot where I believed those graves were moved to. There is a rebel soldiers grave right off of Michigan Street, south middle lot that talks to me every time I go. I will warn you though that at south middle lot at night something will make you want to run. My laptop got wiped, but now that it is warmer outside I will be going back more at night.

I am seeking information and locations of places in and near Winfield Kansas about haunted locations. I am doing research on a paper I am writing. My goal is to get the story and history of the paranormal encounter and then come to Winfield to do a full investigation. Is there anyone that can help? I grew up in Winfield. During that time I had many encounters myself. The first was in a house out on 132nd Road just east of hwy 77. The house was very haunted by a woman in a long Victorian style dress and her husband.
I have also have encounters at Michigan Street cemetery and the fairgrounds. My friend and I had an experience on Hwy 160 while walking back from a camping trip. We heard a little baby crying in the hedge line. When we got closer the crying switched to a evil laugh. I am also interested in finding out where the old Bretton hotel is in Winfield. Also the location to Monkeys Demon. I only visited that site once and forgot where it is. Thank you for all the help I get.
